I was once in a sermon years ago where the preacher talked about Faith and how a tiny bit of Faith in God can move mountains. He had a small bag with him and passed the bag around the congregation and told us all to take one out. Inside of the bag was a bunch of TINY little seeds. He then told us that these seeds were actually mustard seeds. I didn’t understand the comparison until he read Matthew 17:20 to us. It reads:
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
How amazing is our God that he says with faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move MOUNTAINS! I struggle with having 100% faith in Christ 100% of the time, but God knew this would happen when he created us. We are human; we lose our faith at times when we actually should have it the most. Thankfully God understands that and he tells us all we need is a tiny bit of faith. Let’s all try to have MORE faith in Christ. I don’t know about you, but God has NEVER let me down so I have no excuse as to why I should let him down. Together we can move mountains…..so let’s get to moving!
